When Fabio Capello resigned as England Head Coach, every England fan across the country immediately pointed to Harry Redknapp as the strong candidate. Harry is fit for the job. The country needs him

Today The FA made the worst decision in boycotting that idea and have appointed Ex Liverpool coach and current West Brom manager Roy Hodgson. Are they clueless?  It is a no brainer. The next coach appointed HAS to be able to control all those strong personalities in the squad. All the egos and above all control the media.

In my eyes there are only two coaches out there that could do that. Harry Redknapp and the Special one, Jose Mourinho. Not Roy Hodgson. I feel the patriotism in our country has dipped in recent years. A lot of fans do not care about England, we are not moving forward, do not play as a team. England are a bunch of individuals who only care for their club. It is like that in fans. Dozens of people have told, “Alex I couldn’t give a crap about England” “why do I want to cheer on, Stuart Downing, Fat Frank and John Terry.

One question – why? Did Harry want to much money? Did the FA even approach the Spurs boss?

It is like a school report: Why would you select a student who has a report card Grade C when there is another student with a report card Grade A? – Harry and Roy’s track records speak themselves. Ok he has SOME experience at international level but is he the man to lead our country to glory? or are we going to be in the same position looking for another coach in the near future? Twitter speaks volumes. There are England players tweeting that Harry is the man for the job, so I just don’t understand where this went wrong.

I just watched his press conference. I know what the British media are like, but every question was a stab. I received a very negative vibe. I thought to myself, if Harry were sitting there would it be the same way, No it wouldn’t. The media would be excited, they would be positive – Because he was the right man. The FA would not answer any questions on Harry. We all knew that was coming. They said it was never a two-man battle. When clearly it is.-  Clueless

Roy prove me wrong, but I am certainly not confident about this summer at all. There are going to be a lot of very unhappy England fans out there – Disgraceful appointment
