You adore this guy…..or you absolutely despise him!…
People here in the US have been telling me, “dude…you gota write a Tim Tebow blog” – Even the boys I coach at Olympia High school, (you know who you are) well guys here it is… I don’t know how much you will agree with me or like this – This is written from a British perspective about All American Tim Tebow..
O boy….here we go ummm ahhhh! where do I begin. You could start anywhere with this guy.
Lets start from where he really made his mark. The University of Florida, home of the Gators. I myself am not a fan of the Gators, in fact, ill be straight Gator fans really annoy me! After Chris Leak had graduated – it was finally time for Tebow time…It was his time to make his mark on College football. The Gators were the almighty college team at the time. Tebow achieved so much with Florida. 2007 was a big year for Tim after not only achieving Quarterback of the year, but of course the Heisman Trophy.
I remember at the time asking people, - will Tebow go into the NFL?..most peoples answers were he will never make it. He is a college quarterback, that Tim doesn’t have the juice and weapons for the elite league. I guess there is a certain style of play between college quarterback and Pro Quarterback. To me…arnt they the same position? I mean yes, ofcourse…in college there is a lot more opportunities to run with the ball. Typical Tebow. Tim is a rushing quarterback. In the NFL the pocket collapses, and the defense rush the quarterback within a split second, giving little time to even do anything with the ball. A lot of people were saying he was going to follow the family tradition and be a Preacher. Who knew Tim was actually born in the Philipines?
Bringing me on to the next subject. GOD. Tim Tebow is all about religion. God is extremely important in his life, and you have to respect that. I do – I am a roman catholic, but i cant say im anywhere near Tebows belief and practice in God. God is all around him. His motivational speeches or embrace God. They all thanks god. God is the reason why we are here today. I was having a conversation with someone just last week, they were saying that Tim Tebow has God on his shoulders. You knows…he just may.
I could sit here all day and write about what i think a leader is. I have written pieces previously on different athletes, there attributes toward being a leader. How are they linked? – John Terry v Tim Tebow…even world leaders today. In Tim Tebows eyes, he is a winner. He has to win. They is no prize for second best. Everyone of this players playing for him, whether it is a Gator or Bronco- or even back in his high school days Everyman is his brother. We live together, we die together so to speak. Tebow can pick you up when your down…He will not criticize you, only help you. Tim Tebow is on your side and will stick with you to the end.
Tebow he very known for his praying on the sideline…It has even gone global with the “planking” trend. People are appearing in front of famous landmarks, posing as Tim Tebow. – Its called TEBOWING

Tim entered the draft in 2010, and was the 25th pick in the first round by the Denver Broncos. Tim Tebow had entered into the Pros. Tim Tebow is proving all the critics wrong…The Broncos have made the playoffs.
